Anaaaaaaaa
Yes, that is how I call/text her. It would feel strange to hear someone call her “Anagha” now. And every time I text her with my silliest doubts, she responds with the utmost wholesomeness, whether it’s about the Board, tech stuff, academics, or even clothes. I know I can reach out to her and she’d give me the perfect response. That’s just how she is—perfect. Without her, I wouldn't have added the em dash I just did in the previous sentence.
Needless to say, she is a great writer and editor. Her presence in the English section is akin to a beacon of light, guiding us through the darkest of grammatical mazes. What needs mentioning, though, is that she could perfectly fit in the Art section as well. She specialises in drawing stick figures and could customise them as per requirements.
We all love her art so much that we parade it as our WhatsApp group DP. She also is somewhat of a hairstyling prodigy. She could go from open hair to intricate braids in a matter of minutes. It is almost a superpower and I wonder if she’s ever considered being a hairstylist.
She has excellent taste when it comes to beverages. Coffee isn’t your average caffeine fix for her. Armed with coffee in her hand, she’s a whole latte fun! However, there are a few things that don’t quite make it to her good books. When it comes to sea mammals (dolphins, whales, etc.), they just aren’t her cup of coffee.
It has also been rumoured, from anonymous sources, that she’s contemplating a change to her last name, purportedly to “Banana Hammock”. The Board is totally on board with it. Wonder if she’s already found her “Crap Bag”? Now, this might come as a surprise, but said sources have also stated that Gina Linetti from B99 is her spirit animal. We’re considering printing “Ana told you so” shirts for the next ||SHABD||. She could then be the Paris of all people literary.
And oh, she knows Photoshop! I want to just put it out there. (Raising eyebrows, gasping, fainting… (With three dots exactly, yes.))
Ana is, undoubtedly, one of the sweetest. She will always stay by your side with her “Ehh, paapa magu” when the rest are poking fun at you—except for the times she is the one leading the charge, reminding you that she could be sweet and slay at the same time. She speaks with clarity and confidence and stays true to her values. She is easily a role model to all her juniors. I certainly have looked up to her ever since I met her. She is invaluable to the Board and we wish her happiness, in whatever path she chooses. We adore you, Anaaaaaaaa!
