Bhuvan Koduru
Big Boy Bubu
Graduated, ISE
Bhuvan Koduru is a wonderfully amazing menace.
Blessed with an annoyingly good poker face, Bhuvan uses it to roast his fellow Eddies with hilariously startling efficiency. On multiple occasions, people have told him to shut up, despite knowing that his snarky (and sadly accurate) observations can be stopped by no one. Reports have emerged that he tries his best to make people laugh in online meets, but it is difficult to prove his crimes due to the aforementioned emotionless facade.
Bhuvan is a man of many talents, having predictably amassed a following in college. The Editorial Board thanks Bhuvan for not waltzing away from the college to pursue an international dance career, something that he clearly has potential for. His dancing skills can only be described as passionate and nonchalant at the same time, with limbs moving in no enigmatic rhythms (freestyle, anyone?). Bonus, there’s a high probability that he’s the happiest person on the dance floor, even if it’s completely empty! How lovely!
Change and Bhuvan’s love for chicken is constant. Love is a mild word to describe his feelings towards this particular “fowl-tastic” animal – preferably in a dead, cooked and fried state. His love for biriyani is well-known, as is his passion for eating the best biriyani possible at every chance, despite the lightness of his wallet. He has been known to be a vocal member of the Mysuru biryani community, going out of his way to support small businesses and writing disappointed reviews when they eventually (sigh-adly) succumb to being “sell-outs”.
A self-proclaimed enthusiastic napper, this workaholic is paradoxically always in a state of “rest-less” fatigue. He doesn’t mind wearing his pyjamas to class but is very particular about fashion (ask him about his shoe collection and watch him light up). His hygiene levels are best kept off this magazine, but he hates touching the floor with his bare feet. Bhuvan Koduru is a fascinating person – a mere page of description is a disservice to him.
Underneath all that snark lies a kind and deeply caring Eddie, someone you can rely on to give his all to even the smallest of tasks. It’s always a delight listening to him passionately ramble about Telugu movies and Neural Networks and everything in between. His dedication is admirable, he’s someone who will work for the Board through all the sleepless nights, and still manage to come up with a witty pun at any time. It’s been a joy and honour to be part of the Board with him, and I can’t wait to see what he does next!
