kshamata/Ksham/Shammu/Kshameme/Shamim is a gal who clearly doesn’t have enough nicknames!
She’s the duck mom to the artsy chicks of The Ed Board. She is art- she sees art in everything and makes art out of everything.
I’ve had the honour *cough* of knowing this cute creature since the age of 6, and she’s amazing at games like Chocolate Box and even Beyblades and Bakugans! However, she is an expert at a game called “Let’s-move-to-mysore-without-telling-bhuvan-and-keep-him-confused-for-a-decade-and-finally-reunite-in-college”. I reckon she’d make world champion in that game, without an inkling of doubt.
Shammu is known across the entire college for her hair. Her hair colour changes faster than Bangalore's weather. One day it’s green, the other day blue. One day a slick fade, a cool mullet on the other. How her hair hasn’t yet fallen off after such rigorous chemical torture is something to marvel at. Many people, not me, have compared her hair to the grass on the football ground.
Kshamata knows EVERYONE in college and has an infinite number of friend groups. This also means she has an infinite number of people to party with. She’s such a party animal, that she carries a spare toothbrush in her bag. Imagine a person so wild, they carry a toothbrush around.
Shammu is the most wholesome person ever. The posts she shares on Instagram are enough to make anyone's day. Her giggles are the warmest. She says she hates cats but is suspected to secretly be a cat person. Certain Eddies attribute this to the amount of cute cat reels she shares.
Despite being so wholesome, Shammu is extremely awkward and does not know how to express her emotions. Her awkward toothy grin when confronted about anything is quite remarkable!
Shamim is a certified ‘gym gal’. She works out almost every day and sends videos of her attempting to try new equipment. Despite all the working out, one thing she cannot work out is her atrocious sleep cycle. If a person sleeps at 6 a.m. and wakes up at 8, it’s not a sleep cycle, it’s just the ‘tire’.
Kshameme rides her scooter very ‘carefully’. She leans forward to maintain her centre of gravity and zooms around Mysuru at 1.5 kmph. People riding pillion with her would rather forget their experience.
Shamim usually carries around exotic snacks- dried flavoured cranberries and other stuff. Everyone is curious about what secrets she hides in her bag, for she never ever takes it off!
It’s safe to say that Shammu is one of the most wholesome people to ever exist, and that she’s indispensable to us all here. Shammuuuuu, we all love you!
