Raju Bhai, a.k.a Gurugale, bhaigalu, and many other nicknames that are yet to be unearthed by this fellow author, is a cool, calm and composed human being. On most days, he can be seen zooming past people in college in his old, blue Activa which he holds very dear to his heart. This geeky dork is so into coding that he can be found working on problems even on trips! His special skills include scaring away dogs and putting the fear of God in the Board’s tiny junis just by looking at them. He is an amazing cyclist and the Tour De France has got nothing on him.

Our calm, cool Raju can also get angry (very rare scenes, must not miss). It is extremely entertaining to watch when he gets mad at us. He has the best comebacks. It is quite hard not to crack up when we are given the opportunity to get an earful from him. The members have noticed that our innocent bhai is no longer innocent as they claim him to be. Word on the street is that, ever since he moved to Bangalore, his jokes have become, ummm, more non-veg? The Board is very curious to see which other parts of his personality will be unearthed by that city.

When discussing ideas with our Raju Bhai, it is really hard to convince him once he takes a stance. Discussions with him are quite entertaining. He is very calm during a crisis. He usually holds no expressions on his face. If one happens to observe him from close quarters, they’ll see the chaos that is brewing within. He always handles things and people with ease and grace and it’s wonderful to watch him and learn his ways. So much in such a small package.

Besides being able to paint anything that he imagines, Raju bhai is also an amazing dancer and singer. That man has got moves! It is not surprising to us that his dance has gone viral on the internet. His voice is very soothing and very distracting when you’re trying to finish your work in Mech Audi. When challenged to an Antakshari battle, you will see all his hidden talents. The Eddies are convinced that the secret behind his many talents is his home cooked meals. Raju bhai refuses to go out and eat with the rest of us puny humans and always sticks to his dabba. The dabba has unfortunately won in our battle for Raju Bhai’s attention.

All in all, this programming genius, singer, dancer, cyclist and all-round good human is the best thing to ever happen to the Board. Raju bhai is a reliable person and will be there for you no matter what. Making him laugh is the most rewarding feeling in the world and his creativity and paintings will leave you stunned and mezmerised. The Board is truly lucky to have him and this author will miss him terribly next year.
